Walters Macri is looking for experienced freelance videographers to join our production team on a project basis.

We produce high-end video and photography for architects, developers, designers and premium property projects across Sydney. Our work focuses on architecture, spatial storytelling and design not fast-paced volume real estate content.

We are looking for videographers with a strong eye for architecture, composition, light and movement who can represent our brand professionally on site and deliver consistent cinematic footage aligned with our visual style.

Projects are primarily located across Sydney with varied interstate travel.

This role suits independent shooters who are confident working autonomously, comfortable interacting with clients and capable of capturing polished architectural footage efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Film architectural, residential and commercial properties across Sydney
• Capture smooth interior and exterior motion footage
• Follow shoot briefs and maintain consistent framing and camera movement
• Represent the Walters Macri brand professionally on site
• Deliver organised footage promptly via our upload system

Required Equipment

Applicants must own and operate professional video equipment including:

• Full-frame mirrorless cinema capable camera (Sony / Canon / Panasonic equivalent) shooting 4K
• Wide angle lens suitable for architecture (approx. 16–35mm)
• Secondary lens such as 24–70mm or similar
• 3-axis gimbal stabiliser for interior movement
• Professional tripod suitable for video
• ND filters and essential camera accessories
• Drone with current CASA registration and licensing for aerial filming
• Spare batteries, media cards and storage

Additional Requirements

• Reliable car and current Australian driver’s licence and professional insurances.
• Strong communication and client interaction skills
• Computer capable of transferring and uploading large media files
• Reliable internet connection
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on location

We’d love to see 2–3 examples of architectural or interior video projects you have personally filmed, along with the camera and stabilisation setup used.

Projects are located across Sydney, primarily in the inner city, inner west and eastern suburbs.

This role suits photographers who are confident working independently, comfortable interacting with clients on site and capable of producing polished architectural imagery efficiently.

• Photograph residential, commercial and architectural projects across Sydney
• Capture interiors, exteriors and contextual architectural imagery
• Follow shoot briefs while maintaining consistent composition and visual style
• Represent Walters Macri professionally with clients on-site
• Deliver organised image files promptly via our upload system
